Easymodern morning smoothie

I’m always looking for ways to make the morning smoother and calmer for everyone — especially when it comes to breakfast. I bought a NutriBullet a couple years back and started experimenting with smoothies for breakfast. After much trial and much error (error like my kids think I’m trying to poison them), I finally found a recipe that we all like. And it’s been a go-to breakfast ever since. It takes no time to make, has only three ingredients, lots of protein and gives the kiddos a dose of hidden kale. 🙂

Easymodern Breakfast Smoothie


Wyman’s Cherry Berry & Kale Frozen Fruit Mix

Chobani® Plain Greek Yogurt

Vanilla almond milk, unsweetened (whatever brand is on sale)


Fill NutriBullet half way with 1/2 cup of yogurt and frozen fruit mix. Fill the rest of the way with almond milk. Blend until smooth.

If you have kiddos who can detect vegetable matter at 300 yards you might want to add less frozen fruit mix and more almond milk. Also, for a sweeter version you can use a small carton of Chobani® Less Sugar Greek Yogurt instead of plain yogurt.
